"Come Back to Me" is the fifth single from Janet's fourth album "Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814." The single was released on June 18, 1990. It was written by Janet, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis (who also produced the song).

Music VideoEdit

The music video was directed by Dominic Sena. It takes place in Paris where Janet deals with her previous lover leaving her & reminisces about the good times she had with him. The male lead in the video was René Elizondo, Jr. (whom Janet would marry a year later).

The video shows the Pont de Bir-Hakeim, the Eiffel Tower, the Grand Palais, the Gare d'Austerlitz, the Champs de Mars area, and the view from Montmartre among others.
